Little Rock Weekend

State Champs - Again! We went to Little Rock this past weekend for the Legion State Tournament. The Jonesboro team won all four of their games and is now headed to Enid, Oklahoma for the Regional Tournament.

Wow, we never even thought about winning the tournament. Dustin played great and we enjoyed the very hot weekend of baseball. The boys of course loved staying in a hotel and eating out. Barry's Mom and Dad came to the Tournament also.

We got the chance to spend one afternoon at the Little Rock's Children Museum which was a lot of fun. They had a great "Football Exhibit" that the boys enjoyed. There were footballs to throw through tires, an area that timed how fast you ran, equipment that judged your balance and strength and several reaction time type activities. Needless to say we spent a good portion of our time in there. We also went to an Animal Show, yes, there were snakes which of course Corey was so excited about and an Electricity Show. It was a great way to spend an afternoon before we headed out to the ballpark.

We are very proud of Dustin and his ball playing. We have enjoyed traveling around the state this summer watching him play. Oklahoma here we come!
