After the game, which the Redbirds won 11-7, the boys had to roll down the big hill behind left field a few times. What a fun birthday night!

Redbirds Game
Saturday night we went to the Memphis Redbirds Game for Barry's birthday. It was the perfect temperature night for a ballgame. We sat on the front row out in the outfield and had several balls come right to the wall by us. Corey couldn't wait to go to the concession stand to get some treats. Barry's favorite treat was the "barbecue nachos". They are pretty yummy.

1st Visit to the Dentist
Kannon went to the Dentist for the first time. He did great. They even were able to take x-rays. He was very curious about all of the instruments that they used on him and he asked a lot of questions. He was a little disappointed that the dentist didn't hand out any suckers though. He did get a new toothbrush which he was excited about.

A visit from Nana and Papa
Last week, we were happy to have Nana and Papa come visit. As soon as Nana arrived I had to leave for a meeting and she got to babysit Kannon.
By the time I got home with the other boys, dinner was well underway (it was like having the "Take Home Chef") and a dresser that Barry had just started putting together was half way finished. That is what I call great house guests!!
After a good dinner, we headed off to watch Tanner play his first Machine Pitch game. He got three hits and did some pretty good fielding at pitcher position.
The next day, Nana and I made strawberry jelly and she and Kannon made a cake. I also had a few sewing projects that she did for me. We then went to see Dustin play ball. He plays short stop or pitches. He has had a great year. Just today in the newspaper it was announced that he had been selected as "All Conference Team". We sure are proud of him.
The boys were sad that they had to head home after the ballgame.
We sure enjoyed our visit!

Happy Easter
We had a fun but cold Easter weekend. The Primary had a Easter Activity planned at Craighead Forest but had to move it to the church because of the cold weather. The kids heard stories about Jesus and then played games that related to those stories.
Corey at the fishing game booth. (Went with the story of Jesus and the fishermen)
Tanner and Kannon at the Money Game. They were dropping pennies in the water and trying to stack them on top of each other. (Went with the story of the Widow's Mite)
After the games, it was time for a picnic lunch. Then finally it was time for the Egg Hunt.
Everyone got a basket full of candy filled eggs. We had to go to a baseball game right after the egg hunt and I think half of the candy was gone by the time we got there. Isn't Easter candy wonderful!
Easter Morning brought more candy!
All the boys, plus Indy, after church Easter morning.

Springtime
Just a few pictures of the boys having fun.
Kannon loves playing on the computer. He usually goes to PBS kids and plays the games. The other day he told me he needed to check his e-mail. :)
Besides this last week, the weather has been so nice. The boys love playing basketball or baseball outside. It is hard to get them in for dinner.
Kannon always remembers his boots when he goes outside, now we need to work on remembering his pants!
Sunday afternoon Nap.
Tad spent the night with us the other night and he brought some of his video games over. Corey loved the Guitar Hero II. You play along with a video on the TV. It is kindof like that Dance, Dance Revolution. Corey is quite the Rock Star!
