Easter

General Conference was on Easter this year so it was nice to sleep in and have a good breakfast before church. The boys all got a basketfull of goodies and then filled their baskets again with eggs that had been hidden throughout the house. The weather has been very spring like and the flowers are blooming everywhere. I love spring!

Happy Easter!

Spring Break 2010

In March, we spent our Spring Break in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. It was wonderful. The beach is so relaxing and calming. Dustin had baseball games so he had to stay at home. Barry's mom and dad took good care of him while we were gone though.
The view from our condo
We arrived on Saturday afternoon and the boys went straight to the beach. The ocean was cold but the boys didn't mind.

The weather was chilly on Sunday but we had fun playing in the sand, playing paddle ball and swimming in the heated pool.

One night we went out to eat at Angler's which is on the pier and then to play video games at the arcade.

We headed back home on Wednesday in time to see Dustin play in a baseball tournament at the end of the week. The boys have already asked, "Can we go back next year?" I hope so!! It was a fun family trip.

Basketball Ends

In February, basketball season ended for all of the boys. For Dustin, it was his last - alittle sad but he hardly had time to think about it because the day after his last game he had a baseball game. On to the next season. Basketball Homecoming was the last weekend of January. Dustin walked the senior maid who was announced the Queen that night. Valley View won the game.

Dustin and Amy went to the Homecoming Dance after the game.

Just a few random pictures of Dustin playing in his last season.

The Blazers Starting Line Up

Visiting with both sets of grandparents after a game in the State Tournament. The tournament was held at Highland High School which is only about an hour from Mountain Home so Nana and Papa got to watch those games. Valley View was 21-10 for the season and ended up finishing in the final eight teams in the state for Class 4A. They did awesome!

A couple of short movies from the State Tournament.

Dustin was named an All Star Player which is was a big honor. We will miss watching Dustin play basketball but look forward to watching him play baseball.

Tanner played 3rd grade Intramurals this year. He is one of the taller players in 3rd grade. Barry coached his team and they all really learned a lot about basketball. By the end of the season, they were even passing the ball down the court for fastbreaks. It was neat to see them improve a little each game.
