Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day means class parties, chocolate, red balloons and flowers.

The boys woke up to red balloons hanging all over their room and in the hallway.  Balloons are always fun!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

2nd Grade Musicial

The 2nd Grade put on a musical in February titled "To Bee or Not to Bee".  Kannon was a Tango Dancer.  He told me that that was the part he tried out for :)  He did a great job!

Kannon is down and to the right of the guy with the lab coat.

Blue and Gold Banquet

Kannon's Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet was in February.  The theme was Medieval.  The boys had worked for  weeks making shields, swords and catapults for the evening.

What a fun night!

Pinewood Derby

Kannon had a fun night at his Cub Scout Pinewood Derby.

The Christmas Tree

The Christmas Tree Farm where we got our tree the last 10 years or so closed down after last season, so this year we had to find a new place to go.  We found one that was nice but didn't really have many trees to choose from.  They did have hot chocolate and popcorn so the boys thought it was great.  We also had to actually cut the tree down ourself which was new.  Tanner worked hard and got it cut down for us.

Putting lights on and getting ready to decorate.  Christmas is near!!

Buddy

Last year, we had an Elf on the Shelf visit us.  Kannon kept waiting for him to return this Christmas.  Well, the day after we got our tree, Buddy arrived.

He is quite a mischievous elf - we never know where we will find him or what he has been up to.

Buddy had fun decorating the boys' pictures

Sunday morning we woke up and found this (that is our van parked at the end of our driveway)
Buddy was at the wheel.

A game of clue with a few buddies

Buddy wasn't always up to trouble - one morning he left money for us to get donuts on the way to school.  Kannon was always up early, anxious to see what Buddy had done the night before.  Christmas traditions are sure fun!
