Here is Dustin and his partner, Taylor Woodruff (our dentist's son). They make a pretty good team. It seems a little strange seeing Dustin in "blazer blue" after all of those years of Westside red.

Tennis Season
Dustin is playing tennis again this year. He mostly plays doubles but has played singles a few times. He does a really good job. They have two more matches next week and then they will have the District Tournament.

Field Trips
Last week, Kannon got to go on two field trips. The first one was with the Preschool class and we went to the fair. We visited the Petting Zoo, the farm animals, and of course climbed all over the tractors. Moms and kids had fun!

The Nursery school class went to the Fire Station. He was the only one brave enough to get up in the fire truck. He thought it was pretty cool. He didn't like when they turned on the sirens though. It said it was too loud. The firemen seemed to enjoy entertaining us for 30 minutes or so. Once again, the moms and kids had fun.

Preschool and Nursery School is going great this year. Kannon gets up in the morning and always asks "What kids are coming today?" He enjoys both classes.

The Fair
This week the Craighead County Fair was in town. The boys look forward to this all year. We went on Monday night for Family Home Evening and also it was 2 for 1 night. Corey was excited to go on Monday because Jack Ingram (some country singer) was performing. He thought it was pretty cool to get to go to the concert. We hit the rides first, then the Petting Zoo, and last but not least the snacks!

It was another fun year at the fair!
The Primary Program
This past week was the Primary Program at church. Corey, Tanner and Kannon did a great job and looked pretty cute too! This is always my favorite Sunday of the year. Kannon memorized his part and then Corey and Tanner could read theirs. Tanner is still working on the "reading thing" so we were very proud of him for being able to read every word.
Translation of Kannon's part: A testimony is a spiritual witness given by the Holy Ghost.
When the kids went up to say their parts there was a two-step stool in front of the podium. Kids Tanner's size just stepped up on the first step and then kids Kannon's size stepped up on both steps. Well, when Corey got up to give his part he stepped up on both steps and he looked like he was 7 feet tall. He is so funny!

Kannon Turns 4
Happy Birthday Kannon!
We have been celebrating Kannon's birthday for the last two weeks. We started with a party at Grandmama and Grandaddy's house. We celebrated Tanner, Paige, Ty and Kannon's birthdays.
Over Labor Day, we went up to Mountain Home to visit Nana and Papa and we had another party there. Nana and Kannon went to Walmart together and Kannon picked out his birthday present.
Kannon always has fun in the Dress-Up center at school, so what a perfect present.
Then on Tuesday night for Kannon's night out, we went to Pump It Up! and then to eat at Wendys.
Finally on Wednesday, we had the Official Party. Cake and Presents!
A new Little Critter Book
Kannon told me that now that he is four he won't be able to sleep in my bed any more. Let's see how long that lasts. It is hard to believe that Kannon is already 4 years old. He is such a funny kid and makes all of us laugh. We love you Kannon!
First Day of Preschool
Preschool started on Tuesday. Kannon has been very anxious for it to begin. He thinks it is so cool that he goes to Preschool at home. Of course, we had to take the First Day of School picture.
Since Kannon's birthday was Wednesday, he was happy to have us sing "Happy Birthday" to him at school.
Kannon is glad that there is another boy in preschool this year. Last year, the Nursery class was made up of girls and Kannon. The boys had fun playing in the Play-Doh center.
