Happy Birthday Tanner

Tanner turned 8 on Friday, August 15th. We celebrated a few days early since we were going to Oklahoma. He had the whole day planned. He and I went to the Humane Society first. He played in the kitten room with about twenty cute kittens for a long time. We also looked at all of the dogs and took two of them for a walk. Then it was off to the mall to Build-a-Bear. He chose a Koala which was very cute. We then went home and got the rest of the family for a fun dinner at Wendy's. At home we had ice cream cake and then he opened his presents.

Tanner's favorite present was the computer game Zoo Tycoon - Marine Mania. You get to make up your own "Sea World" type park and you can even train the animals to do tricks. It is pretty neat. On his actual birthday, we were in Oklahoma. Barry's mom and dad were there and they took us out to eat - his choice. He chose Cici's Pizza. :) Also at the ballgame that day, they put his name and happy birthday up on the JumboTron Video Board in the outfield. Everyone in the crowd clapped for him. It was fun. Tanner sure is a sweet boy. What a blessing he has been in our family. We are excited for him to be baptized now that he is eight.
