Tanner

Tanner has gotten into fishing this year.  He is pretty good at it too!  He caught, cleaned and then we cooked the first batch of trout he caught.  We have about ten more in the freezer for another dinner. 

During the 2nd semester of school, Tanner had DARE.  It is a program run by the Police Department and it is a Drug Resistance Program.  They had a graduation for it at the end of the school year.

Tanner was on the Honor Roll and also received the Citizenship Award for his class.

Tanner wanted to be the first in the pool this year - it still is a little chilly but the boys don't seem to mind.



Tanner had a great school year.  He enjoyed playing basketball on the traveling 5th grade team, had fun on the 5th grade field trip to Little Rock to tour the capital, earned rewards each nine weeks for being a top reader, learned a lot in DARE and continues to be involved in Scouts.
