Astronomy Night

Thursday night was Corey's 6th Grade Astronomy Night. They have been studying stars and space for the last month or so. He knows over 30 constellations! They had telescopes set up at a farm out in the middle of nowhere for all of the kids to look through. There was a bonfire and a hot dog dinner also. Corey had been counting the days down for it to arrive. Barry and I went along to help out and had a COLD, very COLD evening under the stars. It was sort of a cloudy night so they didn't see as many stars as they had planned but Corey loved it.
