It's All About the Treats

We have been trying some new snacks for Family Home Evening this year. Songs, lessons, stories, and games are great but I have decided the real fun is in the "Treat". A few of our favorite treats so far this year have been: Ice cream with the "Ice Cream Ball",we had to keep reminding Kannon "you can't throw the ice cream ball. Now every week Kannon asks if we can make ice cream. It was fun and yummy!

Our "Jello Bar" was also a big hit. Aunt Jamie had gotten us some fun sundae, milk shake type glasses and so we used them to make our Jello Creations. Kannon and I had made three different types of Jello and then we also had cool whip. The boys had fun layering the jello and cool whip in their glasses.

We also made Doughnuts which was so easy and they were really good. We used regular refrigerator biscuits and then fried them for about 20 seconds. Then we dipped them into different toppings: powdered sugar, icing, and cinnamon sugar. YUMMY!

Family time is always fun especially when there are TREATS!
