During Family Home Evening the other night, Barry taught all the boys how to tie a tie.
They all did a pretty good job.
Corey and Tanner took the Hunter's Education class at the Nature Center last weekend. It was 10 hours over two days with a test at the end that you had to pass to get your Hunter's Ed. card. They both made A's on the test and received their cards.
Tanner has put in a garden this year. He did lots of research on the Internet about what to plant and how best to care for it. He planted beans, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet potatoes, and corn.

Tanner and Kannon went to ASU baseball this past week. I think their favorite part was riding with Dustin to camp and hanging out in the clubhouse until camp started. Dustin was one of the player-coaches.

They had a lot of fun and each day came home with something to share that they had learned.
Kannon's Cub Scouts are having "Belt Loop Fridays". Each Friday they are going to work on a different skill or activity to earn a belt loop in scouts. This Friday was hiking and compass skills.
A few of the scouts plus a couple of friends.
We are all keeping busy this summer. It is wonderful to have this time off from school to learn new things and to go new places. Happy Summer!
