Tanner recently went to Cub Scout Day Camp at Craighead Forest here in Jonesboro. On the first day I was the parent volunteer so I got to see all the fun things he would be doing all week. There were 4 other boys from our church troop that were in Tanner's group for the week. His favorite thing they did was archery, but he also had fun with BB guns, fishing, crafts, slingshots, and other "scouting" things. He passed off many requirements for his Bear badge during the week.
On Friday, the families were invited for lunch. Then they handed out some awards and each group did a skit. Tanner's skit:
One by one each scout came out and pretended to sit down on a bench.

Then the last scout came out and asked "What are you guys doing?" The boys on the "bench" said "We are just sitting on the invisible bench". Then the last scout said, "No, you aren't. I moved that last week."

Then all of the scouts on the bench fell over. Cute :)
It was a very hot week but Tanner didn't mind and had a great time. He is already looking forward to next year.
