The trip Home

Monday we packed up and headed home. We decided to go home through the Smokey Mountain National Park and visit Gatlinburg (a mountain Branson). It was beautiful! The boys loved going through the tunnels that were scattered throughout the mountain pass.
You can definitely see why they are called the "Smokey Mountains"

Barry's mom and dad followed us home on our adventure through the mountains.

Gatlinburg was a very pretty town, nestled right in the mountains. I think it is the Miniature Golf Capital of the World. We had lunch and then just walked around the town. We wished that we had more time to spend there but we had to get back on the road and get home.

This is pretty much what the boys did the rest of the time home. We were all worn out but had had a great weekend.

Your boys sure CAN'T say that they have had a "boring" summer vacation!
