New Year's Eve

Dustin had two days off from basketball practice so we packed up and went to Mountain Home Friday afternoon to visit Nana and Papa. Cymba was very happy to have six more laps to sit on.

Papa was happy to have a little extra help bringing firewood to the front porch.

And we were happy to get to play "the game". Some people call this game "Dirty Santa" where you pick a number and then pick presents in order. You can steal presents from others which adds a little fun. This has become one of our favorite traditions of the holiday. Papa is usually in charge of stocking the game with lots of fun and interesting things.

We celebrated New Year's Eve on Saturday night with goodies and the present game. Dustin once again sniffed out all of the candy. I was very excited to get a Barnes and Noble gift card and Corey was thrilled to steal a Sonic and McDonald gift card from Kannon.

We came back home on Sunday. Then we had another New Year's Eve celebration at our house on Monday night. We played games - Book of Mormon Old Maid and Super Hero Yahtzee. We had more goodies and our traditional Sparkling Grape Juice. We also watched "Meet the Robinsons" which we had just ordered from our "Netflix" Christmas Present. We actually stayed up to midnight and the boys yelled out the front door "Happy New Year!" Then we all went to bed. I hope that everyone had a fun New Year's Eve.

Best Wishes for 2008!
