Hanging out with Cousins & Aunts

We were very excited to have Kristen, Sophie, Quincey, Tracey, Brooke, Maia and Owen visit this summer. This was the first time that we had seen Quincey. He is sure a cutie. Owen was talking so much more than the last time we saw him which was fun.

Everyone had fun on Nana and Papa's boat. The Bjarnson kids are quite the fish in the water. Even Owen loved the lake.

Owen loved to throw his head back and float on his back. He never wanted to get out of the water when it was time to leave.

When you watch this video remember that Kannon went through two weeks of swimming lessons without getting his hair wet. I couldn't believe how great he did at the lake. I think he saw how much fun all the kids were having and he decided he could jump in too!

Sophie had fun ON the boat. She was not interested in the water at all. Her and Corey were in charge of all of the snacks. :)

The boat was filled with strollers, kids, snacks, wet towels - we all had a great time.

Tracey and her kids got to come to our house for a couple of days. We had more swimming and snacking! We also got to go to the Memphis Zoo. Maia was excited to add Tennessee to her list of states visited.

The Polar Bears really put on a show for us. It was feeding time so they were right at the window diving down for fish snacks. One came right up to Maia, nose to nose with her. The elephants were fun to watch too because they had just opened up a new pool for them so they were swimming and splashing around. Corey kept asking to go to the Herpetarium but it was on the other side of the zoo so waited very patiently until finally we got there and he was a little excited.

What a fun day at the zoo!

We all enjoyed visiting with our cousins and Aunts. We can't wait for the next time we see them!
