The holidays would not be complete without playing "THE GAME". Dad out did himself again this year with all kinds of fun presents. The kids kept asking when are we going to play the game?? Finally on New Year's Eve evening we played. For those of you who are not familiar with "THE GAME", lots of presents are available to choose from when your turn comes around. You may choose a wrapped present OR you may "steal" a present from someone else. Sometimes this can cause problems but everything went very smoothly this year. Dad made sure that there were plenty of cans of nuts so just about everyone got their own can. Dustin is the champion at sniffing out the "candy" presents. I think he ended up with four or five different bags of chocolate candy along with a box of chocolates also. Tanner's favorite present (for some reason) was a neck pillow that he stole from someone. I keep telling him that we should put it in the car but he continues to sleep with it every night. Uncle Bill was excited about getting Monopoly and Yatzee.

Before the game began. Look at all of the presents!
Kannon wasn't quite sure what to do with the neck pillow.
I think this is another bag of candy that Dustin is opening.

Every present Corey opened he said, "I think this might be a video game." No video games, but Corey had fun with all the stuff he got.

When we finished playing "The Game" we had a birthday party for Uncle Bill. His birthday is really January 8th but we thought we would celebrate while we were all in Mountain Home. It is really nice having Uncle Bill living in Mountain Home.

The rest of the evening we just had fun hanging out and eating snacks.

2006 has been a great year. We are enjoying our new house, we loved our trips to the beach in Florida and to Idaho for the family get together, the boys all had fun playing different sports throughout the year, and everyone has been very healthy. We did have good friends move away this year who we miss but hope to see in 2007.
